About Me

Who I am and what brought me here...

The story that brought me to being a HypnoBirthing Educator is simple really: My husband, David, and I did HypnoBirthing® - The Mongan Method Course when pregnant with our daughter, Rose, as well as a Refresher Course when pregnant with our son, Darcy. The HypnoBirthing mindset and techniques helped us to create two births more beautiful than we could ever have imagined. They were calm, informed and incredibly intimate experiences.

I want to be able to spread this message of positive birth and every couple can have a magical experience on their birthing days. I am combining my love of teaching gained through my Bachelor of Education degree and 15 year professional career (largely focused around training and communication) and taking these skills into a different space: the birth space.

Completing my HypnoBirthing® - The Mongan Method Certification in 2019, I am delighted to be able to create positive and joyful birthing experiences for all couples.

I am passionate about helping couples write their own positive birth story, no matter what that might be.

It is your journey and no one else's.

I am passionate about helping women realise the full power and incredible deign of their bodies. You have the ability to conceive, grow, birth and nurture your babies - this power has been there since your own birth waiting to be unleashed!

I am passionate about bringing the birth companion / partner into the birth space as an active participant who is involved in the birth in every way possible. You are no longer a bystander!
